T.J. Giavridis Marine Services Co. Ltd. was founded in 1987 by Capt. Tim Giavridis in order to provide a range of marine services both to the technical and to the operational arms of shipping companies. Capt. Giavridis identified a lack in the provision of expert services for the Greek owned fleet. The services provided were quickly consolidated in two specialized departments those of Ship-Repair and Conversion and of Shipping Agencies. The company quickly established itself as the leading specialized provider of these services in the Hellenic market, maintaining a global Dry Docking and Repair network. Since then the company enjoyed a steady pattern of growth devoting its energies and resources to satisfy the needs of the global network of principals it represents. Its long term close contact with shipyards and reputation for excellence among its clients formed the ground for the more recent active involvement in the negotiations and contracting of New-Buildings.
